Biography » egoode
Eric Goode is an independent Tennessee artist and songwriter whose music refuses to stay inside a single genre. Built on a foundation of progressive bluegrass and Americana, his sound moves freely through country, pop, rock, blues, soul, and R&B, pairing organic acoustic instrumentation with contemporary vocals and modern production.

Mandolin, banjo, fiddle, dobro, acoustic guitar, and upright bass often sit alongside soulful grooves, rock energy, and pop-minded hooks. Songs like “Hold On” and “Slow Burn Sunday” push that crossover even further, blending progressive-bluegrass textures with R&B and soul influences.

Goode writes his songs and maintains creative control over the arrangement, instrumentation, production direction, and finished sound. His lead vocals are his own, while AI is used selectively as a production tool for musical accompaniment and background-vocal mixing.

Rather than treating genre boundaries as rules, Goode uses them as ingredients—creating music that remains connected to its roots while continually finding somewhere new to go.
