As much as I love making music, I also really like creating visual art. One of my favorite things to do is a combination of the two formats. For this music video, I shot lots of time lapse footage of clouds passing by. I was staying with a friend at the time that had a lot of crystals, so I set up a black screen background and stop-motion animated the crystals spinning. After the shoot was complete, I composited out the black backgrounds and replaced that with the time lapse footage. Had lots of fun adjusting all the colors, then recorded the video to VHS tape for extra texture and a retro flair. Enjoy.
