60s inspired stuff. It's too 'composed' to be jazz, but it was fun to write!
I achieved the smears, doits/falls, scoops/plops in my notation program using quarter tones and various tweaks in my notation software. All that occurs in the last minute.
The odd percussive sounds near the end are Tubax keyslaps. (The Tubax is a modified contrabass saxophone developed in 1999 by the German instrument maker Benedikt Eppelsheim.)
