Song information
This is a old rocker that harkens back to late sixties and early seventies music, especially the tunes that were coming over from England. One thing I should do is redo the drums track. I was lazy when I first added that loop and apparently still am...

Lyrics
Tell me baby, where do I stand?
And if you do then I will.
I'll tell you secrets you'll understand
Of a love that will thrill.

Dreams to dream another day
Words unspoken no more
Hardly find the time to say
What these feelings are for.

Tell me girl, where have we been?
Can't walk back through that door.
We might try to enter in
What we had before.

Wooden moments underplayed
Walking back that tune.
Final curtain as they say,
But no one leaves the room.

Late 60s to mid 70s was the best era for rock music.  Your song captures it perfectly.  I can't remember the name of the song it reminds me of.

@TrebleFace, I agree with the timeline. An overflow of classics year after year. When I recorded this tune one of the influences I had in mind was Cream. Thanks for the comment.

The Kinks were the best rock-n-roll outfit in the world in 1965.  This harkens to that time.  Not a bad thing.  Imagine, they were banned from the US, too dangerous!

Yes from 68 til 77, I discovered the best albums ever recorded (Dark side of the Moon, Crime of the Century, Selling England by the Pound, ...). This gently reminds me this era.
