Song information
To me, the concept of predetermination just doesn't make any logical sense.
I believe there are an infinite number of possible futures and that it is a combination of chance and choice that determines which future becomes reality.

Lyrics
Verse 1
You believe our hands are being guided
You think the future's already been decided
But if that's true, we can't be free
There's no hope for you and me
Were drowning in the sea of destiny.

Chorus
What will be won't always be
A fixed future is a fallacy
Drowning in the Sea of destiny.

Verse 2
I can't believe our dreams are already shattered
I believe our choices rarely matter
I truly hope for the future's sake
There is no fate but what we make
Drowning in the Sea of destiny.

Verse 3
Looking back at the history of man
It's pretty clear that there is no master plan
I truly hope for the future's sake
There is no fate but what we make
Drowning in the Sea of destiny.

Chorus
What will be won't always be
A fixed future is a fallacy
Drowning in the Sea of destiny.

Great great GREAT song Shaun. Thematically reminds me of Rush's "Free Will."
Predetermination is total BS.
Excellent guitar work. Nice job on the vocals!

Thanks for your comments everyone.
@Wyndsok I'm a big fan of Rush. I know lots of us believe in free will.

I believe we have free will but.. there is also a pattern.. that's all I will say regarding that.. your music is always so pure, simple yet has sophistication.

I like the guitar and rhythm to this tune.  It does have a cool early to mid 80's feel.  I never liked predestination concepts either.  Why even bother to get ouf of bed in that case.
