This is an “easy listening” song I suppose. It was the first 100% iPad music production I ever did, back in 2021. I did it mostly to learn how to use all the sampled instruments and MultiTrackStudio DAW on my iPad. Kind of a boring song, but was a great introduction to iPad music and got me composing/recording songs again.
I used Session Band for the Acoustic Guitar and Ukulele, Beathawk for Percussion & Bass, Ravescroft for piano, and Korg iWAVESTATION for all the other sounds including the guitar solo in the middle. I think I put too many sounds in this, but there were so many great sounds available I got carried away.
I liked this quite a bit. Yes, it's 'easy listening', however, there's absolutely nothing 'easy' in writing music like this. There's a good flow here, chord progressions are effective and they go where they need to go. Voice leading! I listen to my share of music on this site, where this is absent... flow, voice leading and the use of proper chord progessions elevate music. I have tried to write some effective 'elevator' music and it's hard to do. (https://www.ibandstand.com/songs/2338) And all done on an iPad!
Thank you @soulima . This was originally a more slow intimate solo piano piece, somehow it became this loud production. I think I will redo it to a gentle piano piece again. Thanks for listening. I will check out your song link...
Thank you @Bowman . It's amazing how many great music tools the ipad has now days, it like carrying around a whole studio in your hands. Thanks for listening.
