Stalker POV musick. Background SFX is a field recording I got from a forest at night, which was then pitched down and chopped up. The chords were made from a recording of a tea kettle whistling, which sounds like an eerie choir when loaded into a sampler and played as harmonies in the lower octaves. As for the damaged and brittle timbre of the main melody, I tape recorded a piano note, fast forwarded the tape, and then slowed that down to load into the sampler and play on a MIDI keyboard. The tape player's motor doesn't run evenly when being forwarded or rewound, so you end up with some intense vibrato once you bring it back down to normal speed in post. My Korg MS20 Mini took the role of bass as usual, and the children laughing was sampled from my VHS copy of Halloween (1978). Samplers used: EXS24 in Logic and Korg Electribe ES1 Recorded on a Tascam Portastudio 424 mkII cassette machine.
This was made to serve as soundtrack for one of my analog horror videos: https://youtu.be/v1V-i4fKJS4?feature=shared
