My sister came over and we recorded a song she wrote. Recorded this live, her on guitar & singing, me playing a cheap electric bass (out of tune). I was playing bass with my thumb, so it sounds thumpy, lol. I overdubbed a soft shaker afterwards to make it sound more steady. Gonna add some things, like a background vocal counter-melody in the empty spaces - I can hear it.

This is a great song. It may sound rough, but that actually adds to the charm here. I really like the chords here, as well as the singing. Reminds me a bit of Phoebe Snow, who I've always liked.
