Song information
Track four from the "Afterdusk" EP.
This track is about mourning the loss trees I grew up around that eventually got cut down. I was thinking of disturbing deforestation footage I saw when thinking of the title.
Most synths and beats came from the SunVox tracker software and was moved into Logic for mixing.

The EP is available on my Bandcamp: https://ghostemission.bandcamp.com/album/afterdusk

This suggests the dread and a relentless, almost machine like chopping. Turns into a cool rhythmic rift. I like it.

@Bowman Thanks for the comment. I really like the interpretation of the machine-like chopping, perhaps from the percussion sound choices.

I'm not an expert in electronica (at all), but i find your work very creative and inspiring. Both the sounds you get and the way you use them, always leaving space for dreamy and/or spooky moods. Very cool. Thanks for sharing !

@Dyl I appreciate your words. Something I always try to do with my music is to remain melodic and clear to an almost classical degree without getting too lost in the weeds of all the wild, fancy things you can do with synths. This way, you can transcend genre and get to really speak to people on a wider scale.
