"Killer Joe” is a jazz standard composed by tenor saxophonist Benny Golson and featured on his 1960 album Meet the Jazztet. “Killer Joe” became a huge hit played in all types of outstanding ensembles. Killer Joe is a hip guy who mesmerizes woman but not their boy friends. I recorded this using Jamey Aebersold's Jazz backing track 4 years ago.
