Song information
The skeleton of an idea I have for an ep I'm putting together about a guy who's troubled about all the problems in the world. He smokes a reefer (do they still call it that?) while listening to the Beatles and he goes on a trip to Dreamland where everything is perfect. No stress, no pressure and no worries.

I have here the first 4 sections and there will be a total of 8.

The other 4 songs will be songs about his dreams and fantasies and just when everything seems to good to be true he crashes down to reality.

Consider it simple prog rock song as I don't have the ability to make it real prog. Please feel free to give suggestions, critiques or anything else.

Lyrics
1. The Reefer

I was bored, feeling kind of blue….
The day was done I had nothing left to do
So I turned on the tv….
I flipped through the channels but there was nothing on to see

So I sparked up a reefer, listening to “A Day In The Life Of”
Wondering about, why in this world there’s no more love

I went to bed, closed my eyes and everything got surreal
I fell into a dream, everything got unreal

2. Sitting On A Cloud

When I woke up it felt like I was sitting on a cloud
I had no idea what this dream was all about
A beautiful woman sat beside me she was dressed all in red
She was perfection, was she real or just in my head
She took me by the hand and she said
Come… take a ride with me

3. Take A Ride With Me (Instrumental)

4. This Is Dreamland

SHE SAID

You’re in dreamland now don’t you worry
Nobody here’s ever in a hurry
Nobody cares if your red, white or yellow
there’s no goodbye’s we’re all about hello

You’re in Dreamland now honey so glad you’re here…
There’s no danger you got nothing to fear
Take what ever you want everything is free honey
You never have to pay you don’t need any money

This Dreamland I sure hope you are here to stay
In Dreamland you can have everything your way

Tell me your desire your every wish is my command
Tell me your desire your every wish is my command
Tell me your desire your every wish is my command
Tell me your desire your every wish is my command

Great intro and build up! Unusual vocals, but very fitting,it reminded  me of Eric Burdon.

As always, i enjoy (very much) your way with words... And the crazy (crazy good) way you deliver your stories. It's wild and baroque at the same time. Super cool.
