I came up with this tune sometime in the early 1980s, but I continue to tweak it. It is a two-part music suite. It pays homage to Peter Green, who was Fleetwood Mac’s lead guitarist in their original line up. You may also note some overtones of “Oh Well,” and Rory Gallagher’s “Walk on Thin Ice.” The second part of the song is a combination of an Erik Satie chordal melody coupled with guitar volume swells in the style of _______ (fill in the blank). I played the outro more “organically” than “metronomically.” I have a lyrical version of this song as well, but for now, I am sharing this abbreviated instrumental sample with you. In due course, I hope to post the full version on this platform.
