Block Button

I think it is a very necessary button feature to have 
Like the ones all smart phones have
I don’t know if it is difficult to implement 
Such feature though

I mention this because you will always have intruders who don’t respect other people space and that block button could serve as a temporary peace 

Any thought is appreciated

@yoslounge do you mean as ... moderation (in comments and chat) ? A direct contact to @Dr_J is always possible for that purpose (or am i wrong?). Many times fake accounts / intruders were banned and blocked like this. But maybe you see it as just one member could block another (and only for this member) ?

I were just suggesting the block feature button 
That is available on any smart phone were you can use to block any disrespectful comment whether in public or private

I think it's a great idea!
A certain individual who is no longer here repeatedly attacked me in both public (in Chat) and private. Such a button would have solved half the problem anyway.
Of course, it leaves the door still open for angry folk to savage you in a message and then block you. Then I guess the only recourse would be to submit the dispute to Justin for arbitration, or to "walk away" and let the other person stew in their own juices.
It's a shame that this sort of thing happens, but then humans will be humans! Lol ...

This feature has now been implemented in Backstage > Preferences. When you block a user, you and that user cannot comment on each other's songs, blogs, forum posts, or send messages to each other. However, you can still interact through other people's songs, blogs, or forum posts, and you will still be able to interact in the chat. If someone is abusing their chat privileges, please report that user.
