Things iComp did that hasn't been implemented yet

Okay, just a few quick observations... and suggestions in italics.

a) You used to be able to favorite an artist, so your Favorites page listed all your favorited songs AND your favorite artists (as I recall, in your favorite artists list it also showed their most recent upload). It would be nice to be able to somehow

b) I recall that on the front page it would give a list of "the most recent" uploads (in order) as well as a list of "the top 20 of the week" or something, which was a weirdly-calculated score of the number of plays, the number of people who favorited the track, and the number of comments the track generated. This could be easily skewed because the same people might comment multiple times throughout the lifespan of the track, and the number of listens was... well, problematic to say the least. This latter bit seems to have been fixed here -- yay!

c) There used to be three columns, not just two, on every song page -- the column featuring the song, description, lyrics, and comments, then a column that listed the artist and their stats, who favorited the song, and who downloaded the song, and then the third column which was the chat and articles and all that blah blah blah. I used to rely heavily on the favorited and downloaded sections so I could see who had done so and return the favor as well as those who commented.

d) One thing MacJams did that iComp did not do was allowed replies to song comments. I liked that, because it gave the artist an easy way to reply to specific comments, which iComp never did. I remember doing lots of "group reply" comments on iComp, where I'd list the names of the person with an @ symbol, and if I recall correctly, if you made a reference to someone's name with an at (e.g. @The_Cupcake_Parade), then they would be notified somehow -- messages? emails? I don't remember -- and receive a link to where the comment was made. Both would be nice here.

These are off the top of my head -- more as I think of them and poke around more.
