Time to have a little FUN!

I grew up watching the Three Stooges and lots of Warner Brothers cartoons.

A thing like that can scar a fella for life, as this goofy love song amply demonstrates!

Think of the T.V. sitcom “Dharma And Greg” for a close analogue…

Enjoy!

Lyrics
STRANGEROUS

I
She's the strangest girl I've ever seen;
---likes makin' love on a trampoline.
She gets excited in the month of June.
She likes to howl at the moon!

She likes to dance in her lingerie;
---she greets the Sun at the break of day.
...Shares her love with the whole creation.
She's always takin' in strays...

CHORUS:
She's my baby!
---likes to remind me every day.
It's like livin' in a pettin' zoo!
---So glad she came to stay.

Well she's my baby!
We fell in love on a rainy day.
Since that time my life has changed
in oh so many ways.

II
She wears a death-head ring on her thumb;
---tattoo of Kissinger on her bum!
Her many piercings cause a lot of talk.
Sounds like a junk-wagon when she walks!

When I get home from a hard workin' day,
my sweet Mama says “It's time to play.”
My baby's cookin' make a grown man cry;
but I eat it anyway. (Hmmm...)

CHORUS:
She's my baby!
---likes to remind me every day.
It's like livin' in a passion play!
---So glad she came to stay.

Well she's my baby!
We fell in love on a rainy day.
Since that time my life has changed
in oh so many ways.

Ohh...

1st REFRAIN:
She's strangerous... Her life's a tale that breaks every mold.
She's strangerous... I love to sit and watch it all unfold!

Yeah!

III
She's gettin' stranger as the years go by.
She juggles hamsters for the exercise!
On her unicycle man she really flies!
Ask her no questions, she'll tell you no lies.

She likes to wear funny hats to bed;
---painted our window-sills cherry red.
I haven't figured out her mind yet.
I NEVER will! That's one safe bet!

CHORUS:
She's my baby!
---likes to remind me every day.
It's like livin' in a sit-com!
I'm so glad she came to stay.

Well she's my baby!
We fell in love on a rainy day.
Since that time my life has changed
in oh so many ways.

2nd REFRAIN:
She's strangerous... A mystery woman with a heart of gold.
She's strangerous... A love like hers will never ever get old!

No!

Come on!

She's strangerous!

She's strangerous!

She's strangerous!

She's strangerous!

Ah, women know these things Mike.  Freud was their friend.  You better make her a sandwich.  Just to protect that yatzi time.

I knew from your song image this would be fun.  Wasn’t disappointed and your taste in great early TV viewing was just like mine.  Enjoyed it Michael.  Cheers, Charlie

Stan,
"ear-wormy" sounds scary... like some kind of infestation! Ha ha...
We're never too old to rock and roll, are we friend?
Thanks for listening!

The lesson here I guess is that true love can overcome serious differences...
My love of "changes" probably comes from listening to a lot of prog rock over the decades. Been listening to Jethro Tull since 1970. That by itself explains a lot!
Be well bro!

@Grathy,
Thanks for the kind words Mary!
FULL DISCLOSURE: the idea for this tune was spawned after I heard a tune by Canadian folk rockers Captain Tractor. It's a humorous but very dark song called "Pineapple Bomb," about a guy who loves a Hawaiian gal who turns out to be a terrorist and builds bombs in their basement. I'm just not that dark so decided to do a much happier tune!
I'm glad I heard their song because it made the writing of this one possible.
Be well friend!
