Lyrics
Well don't we have fun rolling into town
With those dice we spread the chips all around
Living is a gamble, whether you're up or down

Last year the cards did pay off in my favor
After I took the house I said “boys I’ll see you later”
But the eyes were on me, so I thought that I should bait her

Told her I was flush and that I could win
Just blow on my dice and then take a sip of my gin
It’s worked before and soon the dough I was in

People always gravitate toward a winner
If they're honest or even a mean old sinner
As long as you pay the bills and pick up the dinner

Living so high I never thought my luck could stop
Going 80 in Vegas until I was stopped by a cop
Tried to give him a bribe and soon I was eating slop

My wife bailed me out while I told her so many lies
Said I’d change my ways, that I ain’t one of those guys
But a few months later I was headed for that gambling high
