A track by my old San Francisco based mock tribute band Punk Floyd. This song was hard to figure what new door to take it out, so I came up with a surf rock riff and we punked it out. Band mates were John Poultney (David Killmore) on Guitar and lead vocals, Skip Hovorka (Brick Napalm) on drums, and me (Roger Rotten) on bass and harmony vocals. It was a fun ride. Track was recorded at some undisclosed studio located somewhere in Sausalito, CA. The Engineer joined us in singing on the chorus.
So adolescent in the best possible sense… the genre demands it of course… but you’ve nailed it… authentic… the vocal delivery’s are incredible… my wife’s boyfriend was Jerry Only of the misfits before we met, so I’ll bounce this off her and I’ll bet the authenticity meter will be pegged… but if she suddenly sports a Mohawk I’m holding you responsible
