This is a composition and a really OLD recording I made back in college. It came off a tape recording I made back then which I have now remastered using all the great audio tools on the iPad.
I took a composition class one semester and we were asked to write 2 songs using the keyboard workstation in the school MIDI lab. We were each given a picture and words to think about, and told to write a song to fit them. This song was made for a sunset scene.
Really surprised how this recording restoration turned out. I used a plugin called Brusfri that took out the tape hiss like magic.
This song is easy listening, but I selected classical as it fits that genre better than the other choices on the genre list.
It suits its purpose well. I like the major seventh chords. It has a nice flow, which is not something one always hears on sites such like these. Chords tend to want to go to chords that make harmonic sense and it's in those sensible progressions where one gets a nice flow. Enjoyed!
Thanks @jgurner . I remember those fostex's. I went with the TASCAM 244. It had 4 tracks. I later upgraded to the TASCAM 688 midistudio that somehow got 8 tracks on a cassette. Fun machines, fun days. Sometimes stayed up all night recording.
Thanks for listening @soulima ! I went through a lush major 7th and 9th chord stage back in college. Always like the sound, like music from the carpenters, lush harmonies all over the place.
