Yes, very epic sounding. This could have been in the Superman movie from '78 or 2001 A Space Odyessy, no problem. Super well done, with fantastic production.
I like the chord progression: I, I6, IV, V.... many a classical (and pop) composer have done a lot with that one. The melodic ideas you have on top work well.
@Wyndsok There are things we have no answers for. Certainly the grandeur of the universe is one of them. Contemplating that great mystery, whatever you believe, stirrs us to our soul.

I've always found comfort in zooming out and remembering how small I am in comparison to the infinite vastness of the cosmos...I think it helps me to hold onto things less tightly, as whatever I'm worried about in any moment is very small potatoes indeed in the grand scheme of things. In any event, really enjoyed this piece - there's a raw beauty and power in it that I find very compelling
