As you know I can't play piano but that has never stopped me trying !! ... This isn't much of a work of art but another of those melodies that always float around my head , recorded as best as I can given my lack of musical skill but I have fun and that's what music is all about ... I'm really not much of a guitarist, or a keyboardist for that matter. Like you I hear stuff in my head.
I really just write songs. I do whatever I can to make them come out close to what I hear in my head. LogicPro X is a huge help. I use every trick in the book short of AI (which I will never use).
If I were in a real band I could play a little rhythm guitar but would mostly have to confine myself to singing, and let the other band members do the rest. Full disclosure!
