Robin Trower is one of my favorite guitar players. His use of vibrato on his “Live” album left a deep imprint on my soul. I could never could quite capture his technique for my own playing. Though his stylistic influences may not show up much in my compositions these days, this song is dedicated to him. The first segment of the song uses a Strat, the second movement @2:37 switches to a Les Paul, then back to the Strat for the ending.

Btw, I too am a big fan of Robin Trower. I have most of his many albums.
And I too have tried to reproduce his wonderful guitar sound, but to no avail. (Have the same problem with the guitar sound of the late great Leslie West...)
