Three thousand years ago stories were told of a long and dangerous journey that would change those who survived for the rest of their lives. A film about that journey called The Odyssey is coming soon. Christopher Nolan didn’t ask me to compose the score so I chose to compose a short work for myself and those interested in taking this journey with me. Hope you enjoy it.
The update has some changes that emphasize the harshness but make it flow better.

I like the ambient texture and the dissonance. The repetitive chords do remind one of the oars in the water.  Very enjoyable, Charlie!

The Odyssey is one of my favorite pieces of ancient Greek literature. From what I've read about the intentional wokeness of the upcoming film I intend never to view it.
I do enjoy this piece of yours Charlie. You have managed a subtle interweaving of majesty and menace. Bravo!

Another great piece of work Charlie.  So dark and sad.  I don't know Odyssey but this music would be perfect show the mood for the day after "whats his name" drops the big one and kills most of us.

A fantastic moody and brooding piece. Gives a feeling of the foreboding that must have been felt by those undertaking the voyage and looking out at the vast expanse of the unknown seas.
