Following https://ibandstand.com/songs/558 and https://ibandstand.com/songs/631, this 3rd movement is a 17' long ballad with Beethoven's memory: a life made of solitude, of absence of romantic history, of suffering, with this deep conviction of being a musical genius. Here Beethoven leads us into a serene tranquility, a melodious appeasement. In this movement, the themes and variations are as if improvised by the first violins. The whole movement is in fact a long improvisation based on a dialogue between the strings and the wind instruments. At the end, the two short, surprising and sonorous fanfares call for a “restart” and announce the last movement. This one has been uploaded in 124kbps.
I love the melodic themes of the 3rd movement. So beautiful. Extremely well made again. I am deeply impressed. Thanks for sharing. This was a joy to listen to on my best speakers in the living room.
Another splendid rendering. The lower bitrate works just fine. I'm wondering how you are going to handle the fourth movement vocals? Do you have a choir? I know there are 'virtual choirs', so perhaps that's the plan. It will be interesting to see!
