Song information
This song goes way back to the 80s, while thinking about my 1969 Impala Lowrider I owned in high school. We cruised Whittier Boulevard, Crenshaw Boulevard, Ventura Boulevard, and Sunset Boulevards. It was pure joy! I was looking to add vocals to the song and saw Mark Staab like the same music I grew up hearing in Los Angeles. He totally surprised me with the lyrics, a love song to the car. In 2017 I was asked to add music for a Local Lowrider car show and use an early version of the song and another lowrider song Sam and I did as well.
The video took off and now has more than 7.2k views, and the music is still doing great on the streaming platforms.
