Song information
This is the third track from my 2024 RPM Challenge EP Quiet Puzzle.
Still sticking with the 80s-esque synths, this one was probably the one I spent the most time working on. It went through at least four different versions before I was happy with it, but the one thing that stayed pretty much the same through it all was the bass synth. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out - bass synth and all.
Hope you enjoy!

Lyrics
Clouds form in your eyes
tempest on your lips
Feelings so compromised
Got to find some shelter
from the storm in you

Lightning electrifies
surging from your fingertips
You make me feel so high
Got to find some shelter
from the storm in you

Calm as a morning breeze
Cool as the autumn rains
Clear as the cloudless sky
Momentary shelter
from the storm in you

listen for your sigh
breathing close to a dream
Will I find my way to you
Lying in the shelter
from the storm in you

Come back on my knees
begging for the cloudy sky
Thunder starts to roll
Need to feel the rhythm
of the storm in you

Clouds form in your eyes
static dances on you skin
Feel the pressure start to rise
I can feel the rhythm
of the storm in you

I love this 80 electronic inspiration. It has the raw and simple expression of early analog synths. Cool work

As Kenneth I love the 80's touch to it. The ambient sound by the middle adds some life to that electronic piece.
