Song information
I came to faith at age 23 out of addiction and barely holding on... I'm 69 now, and have traveled far... I remember getting hold of a book by CS Lewis "Surprised by Joy" and being overjoyed to find that someone had shared my experience (not with drugs) and had articulated it so much better than I ever could...

Lyrics
In a clearing by the woods
I met a golden fawn at play
so curious when she saw me
but she had to run away
I came not as the hunter
but still she would not stay
I hope the fawn comes back someday
I hope the fawn comes back

@ScottCarmichael
I left the drug culture at age 19, after roughly five years of massive abuse, from psychedelics to needles. It was faith in our Creator that pulled me out of that dark hole. Forever grateful!
This is a lovely song Scott. Thanks for posting...
