This is an update to a recent upload Exactus something I rarely do. I’ve added a chorus and some new material and consider it an improvement. Many thanks to those of you who have already listened and commented on Exactus. If you're willing and find time I’d love to hear your thoughts of this version. No worries if you don’t. Our time is valuable and I certainly understand. Video: Here’s my recut and rescored trailer of Gladiator II. I’ve stripped all dialogue and sound effects from it and let only Exactas music and images tell the story. Thumbs up and perhaps I’ll live to make another video. Thanks for taking a look and a listens my friends. Gladiator II Trailer: Recut and Rescored Video: https://youtu.be/jXO1WilXlM8

Sometimes it is worth revisting a work; sometimes it can be like reheating an omelette. I think it's the former here. I like the additions! I especially like the 'sotto voce' vocals. A good ending too!
@soulima This one comes closer to how I feel about this. For me the chorus adds a human element that gives it flesh and blood.
Thanks for the second look and your kind comments John.
Cheers, Charlie
@thsantac Thanks for the revisit Thierry. Honestly everything I do could be better, but I do the best I can. I’m always interested in your thoughts but I believe we sometimes have different musical sensibilities which is a good thing and makes for interesting conversations. Charlie
@Wyndsok You know what it’s like to keep trying to make something better and how it feels when you do. Thanks Mike. Alway appreciate your enthusiasm and friendship. Charlie
This sounds amazing. Love the voices throughout giving the song more depth. For me that instrument that comes in at the 18 seconds mark is a bit loud but that could be my cheap air pods. The flute at the end is beautiful. I can't wait for the sequel 😎
Love the epic vocals in this !! ... I was looking into symphonic choirs ( not sure if you have come across it ) ? ... Great post and certainly grips the imagination as a group of warriors about to go into battle ...
@TrebleFace Thanks for the second listen. I agree the vocals add depth and for me brings out the humanity. As for a sequel, I need to think about where this story goes. Cheers or as a Roman soldier might say Fremitus.
The Vocal Stabs are well placed and do not detract from this evolving piece, as you say, they enhance it. Always good to do sections in different instrumentations. Like the ending too Well Done.
