This one is one of those B-side tracks — the kind of track you either love or skip entirely 🙂 It’s built from chopped-up vocal samples, all run through a vocoder in Reaktor Razor. I’ve let the machines take the lead on this one… a bit of a Kraftwerk vibe, if I may say so, haha.
This will be my last track for a little while. Life’s getting busy, and with a new role in high-end astronomy on the horizon, it’s time to shift gears and focus. Music’s going on pause — but not forever.
So good, like everythign i've heard from you, Gerald. The german influence is clear, and it even conjures some Einstürzende Neubauten tunes with more modern synth works. THAT good.
@Wyndsok it was an experiment more than anything, playing around with some Native Instrument Razor Vocoder plugins. I'll be hovering around. will post work I have got ready, but new stuff is on hold for a while.
@jgurner thank you for the listen, YES! this was an experiment on doing a Kraftwerk song, but I kinda went a bit crazy with it :)
@Bowman thanks! I love Krautrock its a 60s-70s electronic movement in Germany
@MojcaCzarka thanks for stopping by. Kraftwerk are ne of my favorite bands.
