Sometimes those still, quiet moments can be a double-edged sword. They can give you respite from a world that is sometimes too much with us. A chance to unwind and reflect. But they can also give our minds a chance to focus in on the darkness. The cold. Isolation and fear.

Either way, those moments are precious and sometimes all too rare.

This song is not in any hurry at just over 9 minutes. I guess you could call it dream pop, though I call it the result of listening to The Cure A LOT. It was actually written and recorded some time ago. Probably close to a year ago now. And was intended to be part of an "album" I'm putting together, but in the end, it didn't quite fit, so I'm releasing it into the wild.
