Posters of stars and stonewashed jeans,
Caught in the glare of TV dreams.
Shoulder pads wide, laughing out loud,
Boombox playing, we drew a crowd.

Verse 2:
Cassette tape spinning our Friday night,

Big hair teased, dancing in streetlight.

Bright signs and arcade kings,

MTV told us we could sing.
