A short lament about being lonely in a relationship. I wrote it a few years ago and do the vocals and all of the guitars.

Lyrics
Well, tonight is never right for me to hold you tight
And tomorrow is no better time to get together
Though my love for you is strong,
You always tell me that it’s wrong
For me to long for how things used to be
But tomorrow or tonight is never quite right
But yesterday suits you fine.

Tonight is always wrong for us to be alone
And when tomorrow comes along, seems like you’re always gone.
I’m either working or I’m bored
with all these toys I can’t afford
The same old noise you’ve heard before.
But tomorrow or tonight is never quite right,
But yesterday suits you fine.
Repeat twice

I dig this -- listened to the whole song. The main guitar is quite dry -- I think some slapback or slight reverb would have done quite nicely. The vibe of this piece hits a sweet spot. Interesting choice to do this without drums, but it works.

I agree with the Doc, and i love your choices on this song, the twang and the natural sound of the guitars highlights the vocals and lyrics just fine. So cool to see a new post from you !
