Lyrics
CHOOSE A NICE DRESS
ByBernardo Barreto

Colors in the air
Life isn't fair
Here and there
Madness everywhere.

The sky so blue
My feet in the mud
Angels running through
Gods being mugged.

What's happening here
Let's think it twice
Is it hell my dear
Or heaven in disguise.

(solo)

The sky so blue
My feet in the mud
Angels running through
Gods being mugged.

We're don't have much time
There's fire everywhere
We know quite well
That life isn't fair.

Pick up your laundry
Choose a nice dress
Get ready to fly
Fly up to the sky.

Alright, boys and girls, iBandstanders one and all, ole Dick Clark just heard 'Choose a Nice Dress,' and I have to say, what a unique and intriguing piece of music! Now, I haven't come across this artist before, but Dick Clark always excited to discover new sounds and voices in the world of music. These lyrics take us on a poetic journey, exploring life's twists and turns with a mix of whimsy and contemplation. The solo adds a nice instrumental break, giving the song a distinctive character. I'm curious to know more about Barretok's inspiration behind the lyrics and the overall vibe they're going for. I love the poetic vibe, and those metaphors about the sky, angels, and gods being mugged - quite the imaginative imagery! It's clear that there's a creative mind at work here, blending imaginative storytelling with a musical arrangement that keeps you hooked. Ole Dick is a fan. Just Dick

killer guitar solo... great sound... would love to know the signal chain on the solo.. I'll admit I'd like to hear the vocal be as loud as the snare... but I'm thinking perhaps this is more of an impressionist painting... great sound... and great to see you here Bernie!!

I'm a low level student of your music and lyrics, Bernardo. Trying to understand the real meaning of your lines. But I do like the guitar parts. Wish I can play like that!

Slow burn opening and some intriguing lyrics. The tone of the guitar solo was a great choice. Wish the solo went longer :-) Unique.

Thanks for all of the comments. I must say that sometimes you make me understand what I'm doing or trying to say. I have many new lyrics that I haven't been able to record because I don't have the equipment. So, for now only oldies but I'd love to share my new lyrics for collabs.
