G'day, I'm Gerald from Melbourne, though most call me Garni (my nickname and don't ask me how I got that, its a rather long story!) I'm just an ordinary bloke really, but I do have a couple of interests that keep me busy. During the day, I work at a telescope shop specializing in high-end astrophotography gear. Studying the stars and cosmos is a passion of mine. 

When the clouds roll in and I can't get out with the telescope, I spend time on my other hobby - playing music. I'm self-taught on several instruments like guitar, piano and drums. Nothing too fancy, just enjoying putting some tunes together. 

My musical tastes are a bit of a mixed bag - everything from the classics like Depeche Mode and Peter Gabriel to harder stuff like Black Sabbath. I've even played cello years ago with a local orchestra group.

These days, you might find me jamming with my band LegRoom or collaborating on music projects here and there. It's just a way for me to combine my love of the night sky with making some simple but heartfelt music, whether original tunes or scores.

Nothing too exciting really, just an everyday Aussie bloke who likes looking up at the stars and playing a few instruments when I can. But it keeps me happy and out of trouble!
