The light has gone out, the colours have faded  
A heavy grey blanket, my heart's been shaded
The spark has been smothered
My mind feels so clouded, my spirit's diminished, my spirit's demented!

Laughter is silenced, smiles have disappeared, 

Energy and zest have faded, I feared. 

No passion brings the feeling, that all pleasures seem cold, 

As the emptiness grows and sadness takes hold.
