I am starting to put a new song together but, in the light of the failed “Voice” referendum in Australia recently, I thought it would be timely to post this Macjams GSB collaboration from 2015 again.

The recent referendum, sought to recognise the first peoples of Australia, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, in the constitution, but sadly failed after the whole process was overly politicised and made out to be more complicated than it was.

The “Great South Band" :-) brought the song to life.

Jiguma played bass, keys and helped tweak my Logic Drummer track, added some backing vocals and helped with the initial mix/master.

Philip 18 played lots of guitars and did backing vocals. Indeed, I think Philip provided me with about 10 different guitar tracks to try and mix in. He was always of the opinion that a song couldn’t have too many guitars :-)

I wrote the words and music, sang lead and backing vocals, played acoustic guitar, generated the Logic Drummer track and did the final mix/master. I also re-mastered it for this outing.
