Where to start?
I played in some emerging bands in the Sydney scene during the early ‘70s.  They never really emerged all that much, but during that time my interest in music started to develop.
I am a “Jack of all trades” musically, and concentrate on using whatever I can (vocals, guitar, bass, keyboards etc) to develop a song.  If I have any specialties these days, they are probably production and songwriting.
I became a pretty consistent (some might say “obsessive”) poster of new music at MacJams, and loved the concept of that community and the opportunity to collaborate with lots of great writers/players/singers.
I’m still learning about writing and song development, and have a number of musical outlets: writing and recording new music; playing and recording with a local garage band; remastering some collaborations from MJ that I was involved in; recording songs with Joe Cannon and Mike Watkins in “The Cannon Porter Project”, collaborating with MJ friends (at the moment, bass for Ed Hannifin) and; trying to become a better guitarist.
My other interests are family, travel, hiking, swimming and fitness in general (and I read a lot!).
I tend to burn the musical candle at both ends 😎
