Song information
An apt song for us all today! Tomorrow is so damn uncertain for us all! Our cities' core are decaying so fast, I'm afraind we will lose our best cities! Where I live, the Chinatown that I knew is no longer a commercial place. No one lives there anymore except the homeless! The pix here shows the Vancouver Police Station area. It's no longer clean like this ... it's flooded by the homeless, drug, etc.

Lyrics
Tomorrow
© Stanley Loh April 22, 2020
Verse 1
Tomorrow is today’s consequence,
What we have to do now will give us confidence,
The wayside ain’t so pretty with your box discards,
You’re still building that scaffold of plastic shards…damn,
Bridge
Everybody’s home in their Western Front,
The Looters now choose which store, which store to hunt,
The Banker calls to queue the Debtor’s path,
And the government can’t help to pause the burning wrath,
Chorus
Tomorrow, tomorrow
We gotta move fast just to keep afloat,
Tomorrow, oh tomorrow
He’s still standing around…around and gloat,
Verse 2
The whole world is heading into a dark free fall,
Everyone reviews the neighbour’s fault,
Who’d be the next one to crawl?
Who’s that Madman denying us all?
Chorus
Tomorrow, tomorrow
We gotta move fast just to keep afloat,
Tomorrow, oh tomorrow
He’s still standing around…around and gloat,
Ah Tomorrow, oh tomorrow
He’s still standing around…around and gloat.

When I arrived in Canada in 1968 every family had a house (or two), a couple of cars, a cottage with motor bikes, boats and snowmobiles.  When kids graduated highschool they went to work in the steel making factory and before they were 25 they had a house and car.  Since the early 80s its been all downhill.  In the big cities not even accountants and engineers can afford a house.  This is not an accident.  As one politician said, 99% of the wealth is owned by 1% of the billionairs.  Sad thing is a lot of younger kids think this standard of living is normal.
