That lasted for weeks:

Of valleys and peaks
It was one of those years
A road trip that maps out a life

People like us
There's but a few;
Collect tips from beyond
A third eye's view
It was one of those days
On the road trip that mapped out our lives

Oh, doesn't it feel?;
Absolutely surreal;
How the passenger sleeps at the wheel
& Time takes its toll;
On even, unblemished souls
As infinity marched through the stations

 Left to chance..

Faith was out for repair;  ( were we lifted?)
Then once more we were spared; ( yes, we were lifted)
