There’s a mannequin whispering secrets to the moon,

A radio static hums an out-of-tune monsoon.

I left my shadow in the vending machine,

It only takes quarters and lucid dreams.

There’s a staircase leading nowhere at all,

A violin played by a ghost in the wall.

I bottled a hurricane, drank it too fast,

Now my words are a circus with no trapeze act.

A broken typewriter humming in D.

Just a clockwork bird that forgot how to fly.
