Song information
This is a traditional folk song, written around 1928 (first known recorded version) and prominent in the movie "Oh Brother, Where Art Though". Many covers have been done (including one by Bob Dylan). This is mine.

As a footnote, Kentucky is where I was born.

This is an excellent version... clean mix, beautifully rendered lead and harmonies. I have not heard any other cover this good.

First version I ever heard was on an early Rod Stewart album.
Later heard Dylan's...
I like this one a LOT.

a Grand departture for you... and one of my favorites... while I'm sure you can't tell by listening to most of my stuff, I'm a bluegrass lover... I love you vocal work on this... and it still has you thumbprint
