Alrighty then…

I have to say I had a blast working on this!

Some months ago, I spent several hours putting together that
intense drum section in the middle.

I recently brought it back out with the intention of building
a hard rock song around it.

Alas… my Muse had other ideas!

It’s a bit of a departure from my usual fare. (It’s left me wondering
if I should switch to Decaf! LOL…)

Anyway, put on your hard hats, tights and toe shoes folks!

Seriously though, I do love all your musical creations, even the experimental ones. It was probably the ***** from the 70s and not the coffee that brought this to the surface. Keep em coming brother !!

@Wyndsok @TrebleFace My dancing days are long gone but I’m currently rehersing some guys to dance to Mike's  tune. I’m hopeful but I’ve yet to convince them to do it in steel toe boots. Will send updates.

I did not intend to record this piece. I wanted to do something altogether different. However, once I got started it went off in it's own direction!

Once I came up with what is now that middle drum section I knew I had to do something with it. I just didn't know what at first. Thankfully some pieces end up writing themselves.

This piece is more like stuff I produced my first two years of recording over a quarter of a century ago. Some of them turned out rather nice, but ever since I began using real instruments and writing actual songs I've been much happier. So this is a one off deal. I'm afraid it's just a little TOO out of the box (my own songwriter box) to become a thing again. Perhaps during one of my inevitable and recurring "dry spells" I'll post a few more of my older and similar efforts. 
I'm glad though that some folks like this. It's certainly the most energetic piece of its kind that I've ever produced. Lol...

Hello there Mike.  Long time no see.   I've had quite a busy month with lots of stuff.  Some musical, some not.    This sounds like a really cool departure for you.   You should maybe think about selling this one to a movie studio.  They could use it in the opening or closing credits in an acition advenutre flick.
