Last weekend, I went to an exhibition in the little town of Lincoln to see the guitars of a local builder. I talked with him a bit, and he told me that he left his 9-5 office job to build guitars because he wanted to use his life in such a way that he would leave something behind.
I think a lot of us are in the same boat. We are stuck in soul-less jobs, and we want to have meaning in our lives. So I respect this guy for striking out on his own, and I wish him the best of luck.
