Nice slow build from intro into 1:06. Enjoying the instrumentation and how the different parts are introduced. Nice balance. Now to the harp 2:50. Each new instrument emerges quite seamlessly. Immediately new and unobtrusive. I think the choir vocals were my favorite texture. Enjoyed!
Hooks one immediately. Mostly a descending bass line, but with some nice variation. I liked the Cor Anglais type sound at the beginning. Some of the sample quality detracts from the piece, but it's a lovely offering overall. Quite the build in the middle, with everything but the kitchen sink in there. To my ear, it seems to come from the land of Hobbits, which is a good thing!
Man ... the intro is so lovely! I loved the whole piece...you are so talented! The Scottish feel is so real ... I saw your kilt lift slightly with the wind...teasing the young lasses...hahaha!!!
Lovely movement and structure. The orchestration and instrumentation are good. Dynamics on some instrument lines need leveling but a small thing from what is a lovely peice and melody. Well done
