There was an Irish fellow, Paddy O'Shea, Lived down our street, not far away. We'd gather round at half past three, To hear strange tales we couldn't see. He spoke in Gaelic, bold and clear, We smiled and nodded, year by year. Not a single word could we ever understand, But we loved his stories from a magical land! Chorus- Oh Paddy, dear Paddy, your stories were grand, Dragons and leprechauns roaming the land. Laughing and guessing at what you might say, We hadn't a clue, but we loved it that way! Instrumental There was the cow who wore a crown, And danced a jig all over town. Or that giant fish who stole his shoes, We giggled hard, and loved his news. Chorus- Oh Paddy, dear Paddy, your stories were grand, Dragons and leprechauns roaming the land. Laughing and guessing at what you might say, We hadn't a clue, but we loved it that way!
