Give Me the Light
Cosmic nu-disco groove at 118 BPM, inspired by the electric atmosphere of New York nights.
Warm analog bass, shimmering synths, disco-funk guitar and atmospheric textures create a hypnotic dancefloor journey under neon skies.
The lyrics of this song were originally written in French in 1984 while I was collaborating with a group of musicians. At the time we never found the right music for it.
I mailed the lyrics to myself in a sealed envelope so they would be dated and preserved.
Decades later, while cleaning my attic, I rediscovered that envelope exactly as it was — with the original lyrics still inside.
I translated the text into English and began experimenting with different musical styles until the song finally found its groove.

It felt like a rather singular story — one worth sharing.
