This is just an off the cuff dribble as I just love strings and synths , I would love to work on an orchestral piece one day as that is the ultimate dream ! .....

Orchestra time is expensive. The virtual orchestra is cost effective, doesn't drink too much at lunch break, or, have pink haired oboists who turn the conductor in to Human Resources for harassment because she didn't get first chair.
If you get Native Instruments Kontakt 7 you get with it a great Factory library with lots of sampled instruments incl orchestra. You can get very far with just that. And then you can buy yourself poor later with libraries for Kontakt. It is half price right now.
I personally bought the Native Instruments Komplete collection years ago and upgrade it every 2nd year but that is pricey. But very cool.
There are tons of good Youtube videos on how to do midi orchestrations. Real symphonic libraries are expensive and I have few that are not part of Komplete. I did a lot just with the factory library in Kontakt
I don't hear dribble.. it's got some nice shape and the chords are well worth working on. To my ear, it's the 'sameness' of the texture that detracts. Consider varying the instrumental sound. It's also a little low... perhaps see what it sounds like if you raise it a minor 3rd or so. Keep going!
To create an orchestral piece you have to have a lot of different ideas and that's not obvious. This one is simply beautiful and the picture fits so well the ambience. Could have been more developed...
