Sometimes people vanish
At times you didn’t know
What really troubled them
For not all heartache shows

Perhaps there’s a  reason
People leave this earth behind
Maybe it’s their season
They’re ready for the sublime

All I know is that to me
I’ll miss you here nearby
To make me laugh so boldly
And at times to make me cry

Life is such a mystery
Things happen without cause
A new fork in the journey
Unpredictable because

We must extract this life we know
From living everday
Not hide in the shadows
Filled with dismay

I will look for you in darkness
When twilight winks at me
Feel free to pay a visit
For I’m not afraid you see

We’re all a part of nature
As it takes its many shapes
We’re here for just awhile
Until our spirits are remade
