Body and Soul is a popular song written in 1930 by Edward Heyman, Robert Sour, Frank Eyton and Johnny Green. Libby Holman introduced it in her review Three’s a Crowd and it is used in the film Blood and Gold (Body and Soul). Body and Soul has become a jazz standard with hundreds of versions recorded by dozens of artists, notably Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Frank Sinatra.
