Song information
This was the very first song I ever posted on MacJams. Originally written and recorded in 2005, this song was a product of those specific times. I don't even have the words for the times we're in now.

Lyrics
Do you feel it, the pressure building under your thumb
electric signals away
Just how many miles does it take you 'til you're comfortably numb
Does it make you feel safe?
Can you justify this?
Can you justify this?

How many times have they told you what you wanted to hear
after they told you what you wanted?
Do you even know where the war is or what the killing is for
Secret signals away.
Can you justify that?
Can you justify that?

And I know, I know, I know what you think
'cause I've heard it before
And they know, they know, 'cause they played on your fears
in a bid for your obedience.
Are you too scared to ask
what you're scared of?

How many lies can they tell you before you'll stop believing
it's not a crime if you need it?
And when it's over and the truth comes will you call on the dead
to see the prize you have won?
Could you justify that?
Did you justify that?
How could you justify that?

Problem is every generation doesnt learn from the previous and we just allow it over and over again.  If you keep letting the dog to sh&t on the carpet he's never going to stop.
This song is brilliant, catchy, well constructed and played.

Always like this one allot, it's in my regular music rotation from back in the iComp days. The message is still quite pertinant.
