Song information
A wonderful laid back song written by Carole King. It's been a favorite of mine since I first heard it in the early 1980s.

Lyrics
1. I know a spot - one of the few we've still got
Closest thing I've seen to paradise
Along comes Sam, thinks he's got the perfect plan
Says a paved road here would make it twice as nice"

Chorus:
Morning sun creepin' down the mountain
Autumn skyways filled with southbound geese
Misty haze hanging over the meadow
Go away Sam, leave us in peace

2. I have a friend who drops out now and then
Talkin' to his animals by the stream
He's feeling free, go away and let him be
'Cuz he won't buy your obsolete concrete dreams

Chorus

3. What's right for your may not be what's right for me
I'd like to judge that for myself
I'll slow my pace, if you just leave me some space
Won't you please take your machinery somewhere else?

Chorus

Nice cover my brother. You captured the spirit of this song rather well. Caveat: Although this is a fine piece of writing by C.K. I must be honest. I'd prefer some of your own writing. I've grown very fond of it over the years... ๐Ÿ‘
